Expectations- hurts the most

We always tend to "expect" certain things from our close friends, relatives etc. Its a feeling which comes automatically which is beyond our control and hurts the most if it does not get fulfilled. We generally blame the person who fails to fulfill our expectation and complain about the same to that person. Instead its our own fault to   expect the wrong thing from a wrong person. People generally do not care nor give a bit of heed how we feel because of their actions. The only and the last resort to this problem is not to expect anything from anyone. It always gives an immense happiness and pleasure when unexpected nice things happens. So, if you wanna live a happy, crazy and joyful don't expect anything in return from anyone because world is too busy to fulfill our small expectation.

P.S.: This is just a thought which I felt like sharing :) Have a happy go lucky lyf ahead :)

Hey this time I want to share my little knowledge on one of the topic of law which I gained through my research work. Recently I and along with one of my friend researched on the topic-  ABORTION: WHAT THE LAW IS AND WHAT THE LAW SHOULD BE (in India). I feel that this should be discussed in the society and awareness should be spread among people because nowadays people abort more compared to the earlier times. I will try to share my views on what the law should be in India in contradiction with the prevailing law.

Whether the woman has right to abort her own child. And if yes, in what condition. A woman who has already been subject to the mental trauma, a violent act of rape and who is in need for love, care and support. Should we ask her to be a party to a second violent act of killing or aborting the child? Does she have the right of aborting the child in case of rape? Does she has the right to lead a normal life Why is the child to be blamed and killed? Who is responsible for this? Is the mother liable for this or the father? Most of the times these questions are left unanswered which leads to taking wrong consequences in one's life.

The law should be made in such a way that in certain situations and circumstances Abortion should be made legal but in certain situation, it shouldn't be. As per India’s abortion laws only qualified doctors, under stipulated conditions, can perform abortion on a woman in an approved clinic or hospital. The Indian abortion laws fall under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act, which was enacted by the Indian Parliament in the year 1971. This law guarantees the Right of Women in India to terminate an unintended pregnancy by a registered medical practitioner in a hospital established or maintained by the Government or a place being approved by the Government.

The Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act of India clearly lays down the condition that abortion can be terminated if the length of the fetus has not exceeded 12 weeks and in case it is within 20 weeks then consultation of two medical practitioners are required. Rather the law shall be changed to three medical practitioners for consultation in order to avoid ambiguity. In case of two medical practitioners, if both of them are of the same opinion then a third and final opinion shall be obtained to avoid confusion. The law clearly states that abortions can only take place in government hospitals but the fact that private hospitals provide better health conditions than the government hospitals, can be said to be one of the option for the woman to abort the child in private hospitals. In cases where the financial position of the family is not well off and can’t afford a child, then in such circumstances, the law shall give the woman the liberty to abort the child. But this opportunity shall only be given once to each of the family i.e., a family can abort a child only once and not more than that. The termination of the pregnancy shall take place within 8 weeks of the pregnancy. Keeping the same case in mind, if the couple wants to terminate the pregnancy because of the fact that they already have children and are not in a need for another one, then in such circumstances termination of the pregnancy shall be allowed. If the man is already married and the wife is pregnant with his child, yet the man goes and have illicit relation with some other lady (lady is unaware of his 1st marriage), then in such circumstances the woman can ask for abortion and divorce, both, directly from the court of law. The court shall grant her relief. In a similar circumstances, where a man who is already married with ‘A’, still he goes and have an illicit relationship with ‘B’ (who is unaware of his previous marriage), and if ‘B’ gets pregnant with his child, then in such circumstances B will have the right to terminate the pregnancy within the time period of 20 weeks so as to save her own future life. The existing law provides that in case the girl is married and yet she wants to terminate the pregnancy, then she need not attain the consent of the husband. Written consent from the girl is enough. But, the law shall be changed in such a way that consent of both the parties (husband and wife) should be made compulsory with a proper reasoning.

These are some of my views which I felt to be corrected in the existing law. Though this topic might not sound interesting to all but still I thought of sharing it so that some can think about this instead of blindly following the laws made by legislature.

My first post

Hey, this is the first time I am writing something in my blog. It really feels good when I call it as "My Blog". I got inspired to make a blog by my father and one of my friend. I don't know what exactly I should write on this but still I will try to share my views and experiences.
Alright I will start with "the first day in my college". Its been a one and a half year now that I have joined School of Law Christ University, Bangalore. After completing my +2 I thought of either doing CA or Law. So, I joined the coaching for the entrance exam of both CLAT(law) and CPT(CA). Studing Law used to be more fun than doing Maths and Economics. As a back up for law I gave the entrance exam for Christ. I did not get through Clat but cleared Christ Entrance Exam and got selected in this. The real prob was that the entrance exam for CA was yet to come and I had to join Christ before the examination date of CA. So, as my more interest was towards Law so I chucked the plan of giving CPT exam and happily joined Christ but I joined around 10 days late because of certain circumstances which led me new to the class.
Firstly, I was not able to find my class but later one of my senior helped me. When I entered the class nobody paid much attention towards me, they just noticed that a new girl has joined the course. I got confused where to sit and with whom to talk but still managed to get a nice seat. As most of my classmates joined before me, they were already having friends and were having their own groups and all. Therefore, I was not enjoying at all in the college and was in hurry to go back to the hotel (where my parents were staying....they came to Bangalore just to set me in the new city). In the 2nd period itself one of the Ma'am asked me to give some presentation (not a ppt. presentation but an oral one) but I was not prepared for that, others were already knowing about this in advance and were prepared to give presentation. I requested madam to spare me atleast for a day but she was soo rude to extend the time and did not get ready for the same. So, I somehow managed to give a nonsense presentation ;) . Again at the break time one of my friend called me to join with her so I went with her. Now the trouble began!!! In the canteen I ordered for "PUFF" but I did not mention whether it should be veg or egg puff. In Ahmedabad we never mention about the type of puff ,it is always veg because Gujaratis are mostly veggies. The canteen guy gave me "Egg Puff" which I had never tasted in my life (I am pure veggie). After having 2 bites I saw something white-white coming out from the puff and for me it was not a normal puff. So, I asked my friend how come the puff  was like that and she replied that it was an egg puff. I threw the rest of the puff and also spit the left over part in my mouth. That was the first time in my life when I had egg and so, felt very bad about it. After that I went to my class again but did not interacted much with my fellow mates. After the day got over I felt that I shouldn't have come to Bangalore, it will be very difficult for me to spend 5years in this college, I started missing my home and old friends but I dnt tell anything about this to my family because I thought that they will feel bad when they will come to know about my unhappiness. After 2 days my parents also left me in the pg and went back to Ahmedabad. For few days it was tough for me to adjust in the New city and with New Friends But now I am really enjoying here. Now I have many friends who are very sweet and co-operative. I have become more independent than I used to be earlier.
*With my experience I feel that we should not quit things at their initial stage, we should try to manage situations on our own and that too with a smile and confidence. We should try to become more patient and wait for the good time to come. We should try to enjoy each moment though it becomes very difficult in certain circumstances but we never know when we can get a Jackpot :) *

I know that it has become little philosophical and long which I never expected but feeling good to share it :) :)
